Nano Group

About us

Mission Statement

The Nano group focuses on engineering and fabrication from the micro-scale down to the nanometre scale to produce a wide range of novel devices,  materials and integrated systems. This includes the creation and characterisation of nano-electronic devices and systems such as quantum, spintronic and memristive devices. It also engages in interdisciplinary research in the life-sciences, for example the study of bio-inspired devices, which borrows evolutionary solutions from the natural world and applies them in the design and creation of technologies.
